I'M HERE!!!! YAY!!!

Hey guys! I'm so sorry that i'm just now getting to be able to get on and up date yall! but i've been SOOOOOO busy! and even if i had free time i was sleeping! haha:D I don't have Internet in my room which really stinks but maybe just maybe i will get a router in my room! but it all depends on money and whatnot! Well that day was very interesting because i had to get up at 3am to be at the airport at 5 something for my flight at 6:10! I had a little surprise on the way there! My greatest friend in the world came and meet us and she went with us to the airport to see me off! I had to say goodbye to daddy and jessi first because they didn't have a pass to go with me to the sitting area! It was a lil hard but i was fine! Mom came through with me and we sat and waited on my plane! It was finally time to get on and my mom lost it! i mean what can i say i'm an amazing daughter how is it not going to be hard not to miss me! hahahahahahahaha! but anywho i got on the plane and it was very hot and awkward! (they need better AC!) hahaha :D My flights were really rough because it was raining really badly in Atlanta but my other flight was stuffy and hot and just not comfortable! I finally reached LA!!! YAY!!! one of the workers Leanne met me and we were on the way to DC! i met this girl Hillary right off the bat and she invited me to go to this Thai restaurant with the interns because it was the last few days for 3 interns! i had a blast! My roommates had not arrived yet so i was in my room by myself so i watched some Gilmore Girls and finally went to bed in a very hot room!!! haha:D\

Well today was AMAZING! I got up and help metro kids with unloading the bus and got to know some of the ppl that i will be working with and whatnot! At one that day was amazing i went out with the Food Truck and went to Chinatown and another stop and we served 120 bags of food! It was really cool and fun! Its so funny how the women were very aggressive when it came to getting there bags it was quite funny! I meet some pretty cool ppl! That night we went to the beach and had a bonfire which was really fun! we roasted marshmellows and played games and built sand chairs haha! but it was so much fun to be at the beach i just love walking on the beach! after that i went to bed! yay!

Well today i went to under the bridge ministry which was amazing! we went to sid row and fed hot meals to the ppl! The guy who is over it is Cedro he is like my favorite person EVER! But we served maybe 70 ppl but the same ppl came back for more food! i know this one guy who came he came back for like 10 or lil less times to get more food! it just made me think how selfish we are if we don't get to go to a fancy restaurant or not ya know! i mean these ppl only sometimes only get food when either the DC comes out or when other churches are giving out food! its crazy! But under the bridge is an amazing ministry! i loved it so much! i hope i get to go back with them again! That night we had service at the Temple which was really good! Ted Roberts came to church and spoke on Sexual Addictions and whatnot! it was really really good! Just the percentages of men and women who suffer from porn or just taking advantage of women and whatnot! oh i forgot right before Ted spoke guess who starting walking up on stage to talk ab how amazing the DC is and whatnot.. Danny Glover! how cool is that! haha ;D But it was really good! After church some of the ppl took me to in and out restaurant and to the place that is AMAZING! YoguartLand! omg! it was amazing! if you come out here we HAVE TO GO! haha ;D and then we went back to the room and we finished getting our room into place haha ;D

Today is orientation all day long lol :D! bright and early at 9:45 lol :D (i'm so glad i didn't have to drive:D) We went through our book and talked with Pastor Matthew. Then Justin took us on a tour of the DC and then went back and had lunch and then went to Target to get somethings that we needed and whatnot.. then HALLELUJAH PRAISE YOU JESUS! my boxes came in! it was so good to have my blow dryer my sheets my PILLOW! haha ;D but it was exciting! so i got all my stuff together and looking cute (somewhat) lol :D that night Justin took us to Hollywood so we saw the Chinese Theater.. some some other cool places haha;D it was really cool to go! then we came back and went to bed!

Today is a VERY VERY busy day i mean busy! i was on the go all day long! At ten we go to Adopt-A-Block! we go to different neighborhoods and give food and just talk to them and knock on doors and whatnot! I had fun! Cedro, Danielle, and I went around and talked to ppl but mostly we got to know Cedro alot more and just to hear his story! After we got done with that we took the kids to the park and we had a bbq we had hamburger and hot dogs so that was fun! the kids played ultimate Frisbee and they did water balloons! Oh another thing that is really cool the park we were near we could see the Dodgers Stadium! so that was really really sweet! haha ;D After the bbq we went to church! and Pastor Brad spoke which was really good! He talked ab how when we are spiritually empty we turn to shopping or money or entertainment or Christianity (as in not God but just turning religion) it was really great! after that me and Danielle went out to eat to the diner which was really good but compared to home it was really expensive haha:D but i have to get used to Cali and how expensive it is! lol :D then came back and def went bed!

Well i well try and update yall once a week if i can! but i start my job on Tuesday so we will have to see! but i love ya guys! Just pray that God will use me and that i will just use my heart and let God take my heart where it is supposed to be! if you would let to support me you are more than welcome to! Even if it is just with prayer i'm grateful for that!
